2. How long do Eyelash Extensions last?
Eyelash extensions typically last about 4 weeks, depending on your natural lash growth cycle. To keep your lashes looking full and fabulous, we recommend:

Scheduling regular refill appointments every 2 to 3 weeks. (Ask us about our discounted refill packages!)
3. Will Volume Lashes cause my eyelids to feel heavy?
Not at all! In fact, volume lash extensions are extremely lightweight—even lighter than classic extensions. A fan of 4–5 volume lashes weighs about the same as a single classic lash. Most clients are pleasantly surprised by how weightless they feel!
4. How long does the initial appointment take?
Appointment length depends on the service selected and the condition of your natural lashes upon arrival.
Full Set (Top Only): ~1.5 – 2 hours
Full Set (Top & Bottom): ~2 hours
Full Set (Bottom Only): ~30 – 60 minutes
Refills for New Customers: ~1 – 1.5 hours
Removal: ~15 – 30 minutes
Note: Arriving with eye makeup may add 15–30 minutes to your service time for thorough cleansing.
5. Will eyelash extensions damage my natural lashes?
No. At Unik Lash and Brow, we prioritize the health of your natural lashes by:

Applying extensions meticulously using a 1-to-1 or proper volume fan technique to prevent damage.
6. Will I feel any pain during the application?
No, the process is completely painless. Most of our clients find the experience so relaxing that they fall asleep during their appointment!
7. How do I know if I am allergic to the adhesive?
We use high-quality, sensitive/medical-grade adhesives. However, allergies can still occur. If you have sensitive eyes or concern about potential allergies, please contact us at (832) 818-6858 or uniklashtx@gmail.com to arrange a consultation or patch test prior to your full set.
8. Can I swim, exercise, or go to the beach?
Yes! You can resume normal activities 24 hours after your appointment (both Full Sets and Refills). However, please note that excessive exposure to heat, steam, heavy sweat, and oil-based products may shorten the lifespan of your extensions.
9. How often should I wash my eyelashes?
Proper cleansing is essential to prevent irritation, buildup, and premature lash loss. We recommend washing your lashes daily with a lash-safe cleanser and warm water (avoid hot water).
10. Can I wear mascara and other eye makeup?
Yes! You can wear non-oil-based eye shadows and eyeliners. However, waterproof mascara and oil-based products should be avoided, as oils break down the lash adhesive. One of the best benefits of lash extensions is that you won’t need daily mascara anymore!

12. What is your deposit policy for new clients?
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required when booking a Full Set or a New Customer Refill.
If you reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours prior to your appointment, your $50 deposit will be transferred to your next booking.
Deposits are non-refundable and will be forfeited in the event of a no-show or late cancellation (under 24 hours notice).
13. What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
We respectfully request at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time may be subject to a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service amount.
